We'd like to start a new Comenius project with the (working) title "2.0 European ways to faith".

European history has been influenced a lot by various religious believes, but Christianity and Judaism are regarded as the base of the occidental culture and identity. But what about Europe in times of migration and immigration? Does faith still play an important role? Let's take a very open approach to find European identity by tracing back various ways to faith, e.g. historical, geographical, artistic, political and, of course, religious ways besides others. We want our students, who might have very different religious backgrounds, to feel very close during the development of the project.

Summary of the project idea

Four countries will work together to take a live picture of our Europe and will develop teaching/learning strategies. The general aim of the project is to reinforce the concept of being part of a union of countries; therefore we will use English as a lingua franca and for this reason we will motivate our students to improve their language skills. The use of new technologies such as Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) or Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) in teaching and learning will be fostered.
